MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union, established in 1936, is located in Macon, GA and is a community charter credit union with $285,000,000 in assets, serving 40,000 members from 9 locations in central Georgia. The credit union chose CBI as its partner to design and build a new branch in Warner Robins as part of a program to update and enhance their overall market presence.  The Warner Robins branch is part of a long-term plan for expansion within the market area. This partnership includes the renovation of MidSouth Community FCU’s  Milledgeville, GA branch.

The exceptional branch site is an out-parcel located near a major high traffic intersection in a rapidly growing commercial corridor.  The unique exterior design of this 3,212 square foot, free-standing branch reflects the warm Craftsman architectural styles reflective of the nearby growing community while the tower entrance element maximizes visibility and marketing opportunities.  A traditional teller line utilizes advanced teller recycling machines.  The design includes two drive up lanes plus an advanced ATM.  The efficient design lowers construction cost, while the integration of advanced technology maximizes operational efficiency and return on investment.

Consultants and Builders, Inc. was chosen to design and renovate an existing bank building for one of the latest de novo banks, Loyal Trust Bank (in organization), headquartered in Johns Creek, GA.

The bank will be the first and only multi-cultural, Asian American Bank headquartered in the Johns Creek market and will serve the surrounding area with a hi-touch and hi-tech community banking style for business and consumer customers. By adding on square footage under the drive up canopy, the bank is able to house over 20 employees to a number of different positions.  The bank will utilize a 2 person teller POD, drive-up remote tube and ATM as their delivery touch points.  The building will be fully updated with new paint, tile, carpet and lighting.

The bank’s plan is to open in the 4th quarter of this year.

Peach State Federal Credit Union hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of their new branch which was designed and built by CBI. The branch is located at 40 East Pike Street in Lawrenceville, GA. Local officials, credit union staff and community leaders were in attendance for the ribbon cutting. Read more…

Peach State Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand reopening of its remodeled branch facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony today. The branch is located in the Richmond County Board of Education building in Augusta, GA. The interior build out incorporated the new prototype color scheme of the credit union. New LED lighting, paint, wallcovering, flooring, and millwork was included.  A teller pod was introduced in this 600 sf space as well as a conferencing table. In addition, a coffee bar was added to the lobby.  New office furniture and an added break room rounded out this renovation.

One of the tellers stated so many members come into the branch and say, “I feel so at home.”  We feel that the members are comfortable in the space because we transformed it from a dark and dated space to a clean, bright, and functional environment: all without losing the warmth the credit union naturally conveys. We collaborated with the client on developing design elements which are engaging, and which match the client’s cutting-edge marketing efforts. This collaboration translated in design as the engaging blue sky and cloud wallcovering, the prominently displayed core values on the waiting area wall, the inviting and open nature of the teller pod concept and the use of dynamic marketing via flat screen display.  Read more…

Associated Credit Union recently chose Consultants and Builders, Inc. to re-imagine their existing main office branch in Peachtree Corners, GA to incorporate the brand new prototype interior look and feel.  This branch will include (2) teller pods, a new entrance, safe deposit boxes, a coffee bar, and dynamic marketing displays.
