Headquartered in Washington, Georgia, F&M Bank of Georgia has selected Consultants and Builders, Inc. as the Design|Build partner for their new Evans, GA branch.
The new branch will be located at the corner of Hereford Farm and Columbia Road near I-20. The envisioned branch will serve customers with an efficient layout, circulation, durable furnishings, outstanding marketing, and visual displays. The exterior design of the approximately 3,500 square foot, free-standing branch will incorporate design elements echoing current F&M Bank branches while remaining unique, and to maximize visibility and marketing opportunities during day and night. CBI’s efficient design ultimately lowers construction cost, while the addition of advanced technology maximizes operational efficiency and return on investment.
Farmers & Merchants Bank was incorporated in August 1949 and opened its doors as a full-service community bank serving Wilkes County in March 1950. In 1958 F&M Bank constructed what is now the Downtown Branch location and the Main Office location was constructed and opened for business in February 1983. The Bank’s official name was changed to F&M Bank in April 2009. The Bank currently operates in five locations – the Main Office and branch locations in Washington, Crawfordville, Lincolnton, and Martinez.
